yea then it comes down to the other stuff
xr2 does more dmg per hit
takes up less screen space
unlocks sooner than m8 which leads to earlier attachments
etc

m8 is lackluster for the final AR

are all better than m8 in my opinion

Isn't there supposed to be gear in this game? I've gotten some armor pieces, but can't find an option to see or equip them..
