Actually I think painting is the next step. Honestly as much as I would love carbon fiber, I really don't feel like wrapping it around allll those pipes and dropping about 30-40 bucks extra JUST for looks.. I'm 100% okay with just painting it jet black & add some red highlights somewhere on there.
I just fixed the crookedness of it. The right long PVC that I need to mount my shifter on was a bit short. So I used PVC cement and added a 3" PVC that I took out from the what was about to be keyboard dock of this rig lol. So yeah it's all looking great now, just gotta wait for the morning till the cement gets rock solid and hopefully tomorrow at work I'll pick up some black paint too.
anyone familiar with PVC painting??? can I use any paint or since it's glossy I need to pick up something extra? I honestly don't feel like sanding all of this -__________________-

edit: extra pipe? where? there are no extra pipes
You are going to have to sand it otherwise the paint wont stick to it. But nothing crazy, just need to rough it up a bit.
Then you can prime it if you want that glossy finish or if you are going for matte then no need to prime it really. Priming is always better though.
Then just spray it.
I know this because I build models and have buddies to do Warhammer.
Speaking of which, for the red accents you go to a hobby shop and get some cool spray, like that red that has silver in it.
