each game piercing is different
i've been trying to google an answer but nothing comes up
what i think piercing is:
it's not an element dmg like fire, ice or poison, but a chance to do 2hit dmg with one swing
Yeah, I think it counts as extra physical damage. I noticed a few times that when I did a critical hit I saw another critical damage number right behind that but only a 3 digit number. Unless I saw it wrong.
Damage TypesWhile every weapon can inflict normal damage, some weapons will have the ability to inflict one or more damage types, further increasing their deadliness.
ArcaneThis is the type of damage which is inflicted by Death in his Reaper form. There are also attack combos that will allow Death to inflict extra Arcane damage by briefly unleashing his Reaper Form.
FireThis damage type will set enemies ablaze, dealing extra damage and steady, continuous damage over time.
IceThis damage type will inflict freezing damage and will slow them down, making it easier to avoid their attacks and land counterattacks.
LightningThis damage type will inflict extra damage and may stun enemies, leaving them very vulnerable for a few seconds.
PiercingThis damage type can go through enemy defenses and deal significant damage. This is particularly effective against heavily-armored targets.
Critical HitsThis is not entirely a damage type but rather a chance to deal higher damage than a normal attack, depending on the critical rate of the equipped weapon and gears. Combining gears and weapons that increases this attribute further increases the chances of inflicting critical hits.
