Fish tanks are nice and you don't have to get a big one
20g and 30g are still nice
makes the house/room look nice too
always nice to look at when my ps4 is on loading screen lol
trained my fish to eat from my hands and I run my fingers along them as they eat so now they let me pet them anytime

I don't want the fish to get air in their bladder when they eat, which happens when they eat at the surface of the water and intake air, so I take a pinch of food and dip it in the water so that it absorbs the water and sink
I do that at specific times of the day so they get used to feeding time
Once they get used to your hand dipping in the water with food to feed them, they'll eventually just eat out of your fingers
I just decided to try to touch them while they eat out of my hands and they let me lol
Now I can touch them whenever even when they don't eat

They get used to you basically

Just a heads up
Lay out the plan for a tank before you buy it
If you go in just buying a tank and then figuring out what you need after, you'll end up spending WAY more money than you planned
Basically what happened to me

Bought the tank and stand for $300 and thought all extra stuff would only cost me $100 or so
Did more research and found out its better not to cheap out on the extra stuff and then discovered some even nicer stuff
Ended spending over $700 for the whole thing

heard it's pretty bad to touch fish, it might be not so bad because they're tank fish but it removes their natural mucus making them more prone to getting ill and stuff

i own a small saltwater tank

used to have a 60g tank but it got salt everywhere

I had 3 big tanks when I was younger and still lived with my parents. I'll get one some day, always liked having fish

I don't touch it like that lol
Like a poke and they run along my fingers when I feed them

i had a gold fish in a fush bubble thingy
it died though

i believe everyone had a gold fish in there life time when they where kids
