I don't know why you are so butt blasted about MK in general. There are dozens of fighters that are more "dead" or have less active communities atm (skullgirls, king of fighters, killer instinct)

tl;dr mk x is a cup of coffee in the big time.
and sf5 will knock it out of the park once it arrives next year.
until then mk x will be the biggest hype train of all time.
game is still shit though.
