I'm 27 and have my own house. I have to shovel my own driveway and no one pays me. Why the F would a grown man go to his neighbours and ask to shovel their driveway for money unless they are some sort of skeeze.

I will be 25 in April and good for you for beig a home owner at 27. Notice how I'm not bashing you? Home ownership in my area is more costly for a decent place so I am waiting until I can have low mortgage payments. It's logical and practical.

I'm relaying how easy it is to make $50, I'm not telling you or the op to go shovel.... How do you not understand this.

I think ROM is just saying that some people don't have the luxury to spend $50 on certain things

This argument should've just ended when it was stated that Drag bought something he could barely afford/maintain

He already spent his money and that was his decision
His complaints, problems, and whatever after that is his and his alone
There honestly shouldn't have been any criticism, bashing, or argument over that after the fact that what's done is done and nothing you guys say or argue about would change that or help him in any way in his situation

You're not understanding that it's not an insult or me bashing you when I say you don't fully understand the power of a dollar.

I actually owned my first house when I was 24 and trust me when I say you can easily get buried in debt if you are not careful. I live in the Greater Toronto Area so prices seem on par with New England's.
