so this brings me back to why CoD sucks again. it doesn't offer you a smooth gameplay all the time, so why play a game like that when you can play a game with dedicated servers AND be offered millions of ways to play the game on big maps with vehicles and destructible environment. Oh, it doesn't stop there either. I still don't lag when I'm downloading a movie at 3mb/s and playing a game with dedicated servers due to the minimal amount of data that is used from your isp

I'm only here stating the pro's and con's of both games. And since CoD has many cons while BF has next to 0 it only makes sense what's good and what's bad.
trust me, I used to be huge into CoD back when MW2 was released, but then I gave BC2 a try at friends house and it completely blew my mind. Before BC2 I've never owned any other Battlefield game.
