If it's in the extremities you should live, but if it's torso/head you're dead. Unless they changed it.

it seems like on some of these maps i spawn walk for 2seconds than get sniped

Lol. I only have/played Killzone 2 (and the first one on PS2, but it's irrelevant besides the story) and at the bases it's probably impossible to spawn camp because they have little bots at entrances and it's impossible to snipe into them as well.
