When you look at the charts and streamers, your top 5 streamers aernt using a M/KB adapter and are better than most adapter users with a controller.

Let me clarify... most of the top streamers that play on "console" are using a controller not a Xim4, Destiny for example " RealKrafty, Hovey, TripleWreck etc". The learning curve for Mouse/KB is faster yes, you will get better quicker but bellow out sooner.however a controller has a much higher potential if that's what you've stuck to using.. XIM4 doesn't have 1:1 mouse movements and doesn't match the snappy aim style in which PC has, however you can use curves to fine tune it a little.

in the end, People that have played PC growing up that switch to console look to the XIM4 for familiarity, but gamers that have long used the controller will out play that adapter 9 times out of ten.

Dr lupo still does it though. Using a mouse and keyboard vs people using controllers isn't even close to being equal. Perfect example is in overwatch. On pc widowmaker destroys because they use mouse and keyboard. They even nerfed that character because of it. But on console they really are not much of an issue because it's much easier to aim with a mouse then it us a controller. You can be much more precise with a mouse. Also they do ban u on Xbox for mouse and keyboard I would assume on PlayStation they do the same because it's not fair to people who use controllers.

How would they know? Can it be seen on their end that you are using m/kb?

In the cases where it has happened it has been on stream with a face cam that ends up showing it (that I've seen)

There might be some other way for them to see it happening, but I don't know
