I was referring to these people who tell that 30fps would somehow be better than 60fps. And PS4 games are made in 30fps cause they want, not cause the machine can't run them better.

I agree with you that source material is far too scarce. Too bad that the reasoning you mentioned is still keeping dvd alive. Like it did with c cassette for example.

Uhd blurays would become de facto so much faster if people scrapped the grandpa's gear.

thers not THAT many games running at 30 fps on the ps4
however on the xb1 pretty much every game is 30 fps because its bottle necked
no doubt the ps4 isnt the best but for $400 u cant complain to get better graphics u need a $400 gpu in a pc

Utter bullshit. 400$ pc will beat ps4 easily with same settings. It'll run with much higher settings and reach better fps. Let alone 400$ graphics card... Remember, ps4 is half a decade old tech already

My point is that if you inlcude 4k monitor price on pc, include it also into console prices (well, unless console is ofc unable to handle 4k but then we're talking apples and oranges). If you need 4k display, then you need it. Nothing to change that.
