I see what ur saying but no lie he will tell u 100 percent the opposite. Lol. Even the bar cur look alike hustler cues kickel charges 800 plus. And there is a lot that goes into making me. I made a cue in wood class. It hit the balls good. But was junk made. and the guys shafts r like 300. But that same guy can play the same with a bar cue. Lol.

Best shafts on the market right now used are the predator 314 and predator z2
Both are around $200

Predators sneaky comes w one of those for $400-$450 and no professional or knowledgeable player will say it won't play as well as the best or most expensive cue

Only plays PlayStation games?
How about this, i'll break it down a little differently..as if this was a report for a class..extra credit here I come! Lol
And also state that I don't really think there's an average age for people who play video games..just about everyone in the world no matter what age race or gender they are..Everyone plays or even played some type of video game at one point or another..wether its on a laptop..desktop..playstation..xbox..Wii..iPad..iPhone..android, hell..even a slot machine is considered a video game, perfect example..video poker..and we all know grandmas and grandpas across the globe love those things..every one plays something regardless of the platform.

I'm 31, I've been playing video games since the release of the original Nintendo..and even then my parents had an Atari that I used a few times before Nintendo was around..and I've played on just about every single platform since

My bestest and longest friend on PSN is 38 and he's like me..he's been playing since forever and he typically plays a game just about everyday..him and a few others are on my FB and I can attest that most are in their late 20s and early 30s

My dad is in his early 60s and he plays video games on his iPad, android phone and his desktop ..not as much as i play my PlayStation but he still likes to pass the time every so often with some sort of video game, mind stimulation..

My gf is a few years older than me and she'll throw on some bejeweled 3 and angry birds once in a while, a little mahjong here and there..

Her kids are 11 and 14 and they like to play video games too if the weather isn't nice to go outside and play

Their uncle is 42 and he likes to plays sports games on Xbox and ps3, he even admits to playing candy crush and trivia crack on his android phone

if you play video poker, you are not considered a gamer rolf

you just failed your extra credit

and op obviously refers to people that use a good chunk of their time everyday to play games...not people that play shit waiting for the bus

get serious

I've played with high dollar cues and I can tell you that compared to average dollar cues, they don't have a $500+ difference in performance
Even the owners of those cues tell me the same thing
You're paying for the name, designs, inlays, and wood

If you're buying for purely performance and don't care about resell value/brand name, the shaft, taper, and the tip are the performance parts.
$200 under
McDermott G Series
Pure X Tech HXT's
Fury
Cuetec 360

$300-500
Joss
Pechauer
OB
Predator Sneaky Petes

Pechauer cues are FUUUUCKING GOOORRGGEEEOOUUUSS and plays well but $450 for a plain looking predator sneaky pete will last you a lifetime and you won't ever need another performance cue. Ever.

I honestly don't think anything over $500 is worth it unless you want to collect, name brand, resell, or specific design. Performance-wise there is little to no difference after the $400 price point.

I've heard of local cue makers making bad ass custom cues for around $300-$500 and plays awesome

Most importantly, play with the cue before you purchase it. Most billiard shops let you play with the cue before you purchase it.

My Players HXT was only $150 and I prefer it over the $400 OB cue

Will be purchasing a Predator Sneaky Pete next month though :D

didnt you post in bnp not that long ago about which pool cues best to buy?
