Tell that to the other 5 posts you made defending the same point this week.
I defended the fact that the game wasn't 5 hours long. I was right.

5 and a half hours if you know exactly where to go and pretty much never die.
So, probably 8 hours for the average user which seems right to me.

So, the game is 5 and half hours if you know exactly where to go, skip everything, and pretty much never die.
How long do you think it would take you to beat it?
For me, probably around the 8 hour mark. That seems fine to me.
The people clinging to this "5 hour game" nonsense are the same type of people who cling to the frame rate and resolution war.

I liked the look of it. I know it's not 5 hours long and probably closer to 8 but its still too expensive for me.

Can I refute the fact that the video was 5 and a half hours, the guy knew exactly where to go, skipped everything that was optional and barely died?

Granted I am not expecting a lengthy game but taking into account what I said the average person will take more then 5 and a half hours.
People are just throwing it around trying to bash Sony or PlayStation but in my opinion it says nothing about Sony and more about the fucked up pricing nature of the market.
A shorter exclusive, nothing wrong with that. $69.99, come on now.
I am seeing a lot of the same thing. People saying in order to beat it in 5 and half hours you would have to be speed running the game almost to try to prove a point and that it actually takes 7-8 hours.
