Firearm-related death rate per 100,000 population
UK - 0.25
USA - 10.3
You can still own a firearm (rifles and shotguns) in the UK, but they're strictly licensed.
That number difference seems large but its not that far apart
and UK population compared to US population?
scale that up and it seems extremely strict gun laws do help but not as much as you think
and again like i said
the laws are what they are and theres no changing it
if a guy is able to acquire a firearm to misuse it, i should be able to acquire one to defend myself from people like him
yes there are places where gun laws are strict and crime rate are lower but im not going to move to another country just because of that huhu
and i like shooting as a sport. its fun
