I dont know the exact numbers and that sounds reasonable
Those countries are able to ban guns and good for them
But it's about what things are and not what things can be
We are not able to ban guns completely or be extremely strict on it. It's impossible in this country

Firearm-related death rate per 100,000 population

UK - 0.25
USA - 10.3

You can still own a firearm (rifles and shotguns) in the UK, but they're strictly licensed.

was curious about canada so i looked it and and saw this lol
Georgia 1.92 (mixed years) 0.60 (2010) 0.09 (2009) 1.00 (2009) 0.23 (2009) Guns in Georgia[22]
Georgia ended 2013 with a population of 4,484,000 people, which represents a decrease of 14,000 people compared to 2012.
the 1.00 is unintentional death while most are like .15 or lower  some police they got there reminds me of that one show where every death was an accident to make their crime rate look super low

That number difference seems large but its not that far apart
and UK population compared to US population?
scale that up and it seems extremely strict gun laws do help but not as much as you think

and again like i said
the laws are what they are and theres no changing it
if a guy is able to acquire a firearm to misuse it, i should be able to acquire one to defend myself from people like him
yes there are places where gun laws are strict and crime rate are lower but im not going to move to another country just because of that huhu
and i like shooting as a sport. its fun

The U.S. counts suicide in most ratings for "deaths by firearm". Besides that my point is the large number of crimes committed with firearms are from illegally obtained ones. Making guns harder to get for law abiding citazins has no real impact on the people who are going to commit crimes with them.
