Max level is 81?

Im working on destruction, conjuration, archery, illusion (sneak is maxed @ 100, and working on smithing to 100 (at 60ish right now))

does anyone know if you can enchant a weapon and then make it legendary or vice versa, making a legendary weapon and then enchanting it.
will it remove the legendary? cause i tried it and before crafting it it returned my damage to it's base.

if you got the perk from smithing you can do it.

when you goto the enchant screen though the stats will looked fucked up because its not calculating the bonuses from your perks

I have maxed out smithing if that's what you mean. But I have like lvl 30 enchanting lol

the one in the middle that lets you buff enchanted gear. magic smithing or somethin? You might not need that shit if you buff before enchanting though, but i already had it when i started the op cycle

ah, now my question is can you buff before enchanting cause i already have my legendary daedric bow, but when i try enchanting it goes back to normal.
is that just a display glitch then?

at the enchanting screen it will look fucked up because it unequips the item and the damage/armor rating won't reflect your perks.

save before you enchant your legendary item then equip it again and you should see it working.
