Boxing Day makes more sense, return those unwanted Christmas presents.
Canada Day comes first.
And our Thanksgiving actually comes at the end of the harvest.

But seriously, there is a reason. The States just can't be taking holidays and Canada not because it will mess the trade markets between us two.

Thanksgiving is nothing in canada. In the state its like a big thing, bigger than new year, and here in quebec, no1 give a shit about thanksgiving haha, we are like "oh its thanksgiving? Lets go buy a turkey". And sometimes we eat chicken instead of turkey.
