Even though we agreed on ft5, he gave me a chance and extended it to ft10

His record like 360/120
My record like 570/180
My win chance was 36%(no idea how this is calculated)

Went 2-5 at first and got dominated
Switched to ermac after the extension

2-6
4-8 won 2 then lost 2
8-8 won 4 in a row
9-9 won 1 lost 1
10-9 won last 1

Started to catch his rythm and adjusted my play style
He started doing fatalities every time he beat me after I beat him
Not gonna lie that shit was getting to me and started to make me lose a little focus but I don't doubt that was his intention lol which is fine I don't have a problem with that
Will play him again today

If I play people that aren't my level, My focus drops big time which is why I hate matchmaking and cherry pickers

People choose to play "noobs" and boost their record so I see their record and play them only for them to play like ass

Yeah, I'm a noob at MK and the only people who ever challenge me I have like 1% chance of winning and their records are insane. Its actually very fucking annoying.

I challenge based on the % first and then the win/loss ratio
Majority of them are 99% win for me even if their win loss is 200/50 or 300/50

If you're above 1:1, I give it a go. If it turns out that you aren't good then I wait to see if you select rematch. I give you one more chance if you pick rematch and if you still don't meet my requirements then I move on.
I do this because I've played people with barely over 1:1 ratio and some even barely below 1:1 ratio and they are avg/good/really good
Most likely because they only played people from the forums or pick out only good players from the lobby

I avoid the lobby because even though I challenge and they accept, most of the time it just stays stuck there and we never actually enter into the match
People on my friends list are always challenging eachother and I honestly hate waiting in a full King of the Hill lobby

I'm just not very good and my record reflects that. People who are really good specifically pick me because they know it will be an easy win. Thats what's annoying to me about lobbies. Even the "beginner" lobbies are full of good players trying to get easy wins.

I see people with records of 500/30 and 300/20 decline my challenge ALL THE TIME.

The best part is when I play one with a 4:1 ratio avg skill and they lose 4 in a row, win one, and then teabag/instaquit no rematch lol
