eagle river is the best place to go fishing but it almost 4/5 hour drive

Nah the Mississippi is pretty good. Up further north the lakes seemed better to me.

Moral of the story is, despite me being a jerk on purpose, it doesn't matter where you fish so long as you're having fun and enjoy what you're doing.

I know what you mean my second job as my first job is only contract employment is Walmart, and I only stay there because I'm an idiot and have high car insurance, and sort of a "backup" if my contract job doesn't lead me to full time employment or employment somewhere else.
