MH demo's are mainly about showing you a monster and providing a way to try out the weapons
there are so many good monsters throughout the game, the demo only showed you 3 monsters, all of which could found in low rank (of which 4 had the easiest low rank and high rank imo, but the g rank is harder)

this one appears to adding too or completely changing movesets for weapons to be more flashy like Frontier

looks like windows 10 may not be too far off, I just had an icon appear on my PC for registering for my free upgrade from 8.1

Now my math isn't the greatest at times but something tells me there's a number or two in between that just got bypassed

they skipped 9
not first time a number has been skipped for something either, they ended up doing it for directx before because they had been working on 2 of them at the same time and one of them ended up just not being enough of an upgrade for devs so they ended up focusing on and releasing the next one

Legacy reasons. In the bad old days to save space Windows 95 and 98 were abbreviated 9x. Believe it or not a lot of companies still run these versions of Windows. Creating apps that are for Windows 9 would cause issues.
