Currently 97% completion!!
Just the 2 bronze story related trophies until platinum status!
from what I read I can speed through story mode in about 3hours

And I'm not going to quit once I hit 100%..I do like the game
I would like to hone-in on my skills and get better
Plus I still have 3 more characters headed my way
And I would like to unlock more character skins if I could
I only have about 5 revenants
I do like the game but for fighters I'm more of a Tekken kind of guy
MKX is awesome but
I need to be able to side step and get behind a guy and have access to a wider array of combos

picked up kung lao yesterday
need someone to practice with
sadly I lag playing with XxAdrielJeremiahGreebxX so I couldn't practice with him yesterday

I've been knocking out the trophies while you've been perfecting half of the lineup.. I'm going to try to knock out the platinum tonight..maybe sometime over the weekend we can play

I know the combos to kung lao but I don't have experience with him in actual matches
Pulling off combos in practice against a practice dummy is one thing. Pulling it off of reaction, counter, and situational instances is a complete different thing lol

I am consistent with dvorah, ermac, scorp, and kung jin
My kung lao is absolute ass in a real match

Not claiming to be pro
In fact, I would consider myself average at best
But here are some tips for people who are beginners to fighting games/mkx

-Consistency is everything. Large combos mean nothing if they are extremely difficult and are easily dropped. Consistent low/med dmg > High inconsistent dmg
-Work on spacing. Back Dashes. Forward Dashes. Neutral Jumps.
-Work on combos for specific situations and not just from the neutral stand. Examples of situations : Jumping into standing opponent. Jumping into jumping opponent. Opponent jumping into you standing. Standing 2 character spaces away.
-GRAB. DO NOT FORGET TO GRAB. It opens the opponents defense A FUCK LOAD.
-There is no such thing as being honorable/dishonorable in a fighting game. You do what you can to win and so will they. Learn to adjust because you can. It is a fighting game with a given set amount of tools so if you don't take advantage of it, others will. Even I get frustrated and make remarks/complain, but this is the bottom line. There is only win or lose when it comes to fighting games.

I'm so bad at this game it's pathetic. I try to get online and get better but I just get juggled and die in 3 seconds. It sucks and I kind if regret buying the game. The game is good I'm just awful at it.

If your connection is good and you have a mic, I can show you the ropes and help you get better
A lot of people online abuse moves that are unsafe and you get free 30% dmg on them because of it
there are a lot of experienced and good players but the number of "noobs" outnumber the experienced players probably 4:1

Scorpion players are tough though since he has 2 snare/stun moves that turn into 30%+ dmg and very easy to pull off
But it only takes patience to beat him(which most new players don't have for fighting games)

I feel same way. Played like a week. And just get my ass beat. Lol. Not like the old arcades I guess.
