Just did my sub 4 hour run to acquire the circular saw and x-ray glasses, while simultaneously doing the "heal 3 times or less" and "only use your storage box 3 times or less" achievements and i have to say it was incredibly fun and challenging. Despite playing on easy to do this which I recommend, it was still a pain in the dick. The game forces you to use up 2 of your 3 storage box visits at one point, so technically youre only allowed to access your box once, which holy shit was tedious, juggling ammo, key items, keys, etc, paired with the fact that i couldnt heal more than 3 times, had me shitting bricks.

Time to start my third and final run, madhouse time! This should be intense..

Anyone playing this with VR? If so, are you able to play the game with motion controllers or is it only compatible with DS4?

Id say i died about 8 times, solid half of which came from mad house due to ethan being fragile as all shit, and enemies capable of 2 shotting you, not to mention mad house switches enemy spawn locations and theres more of them.

Normal took me about 12-13 hours, my easy sub 4 hour speed run done in 2 and a half and mad house was 6 hours and change. Youll need 3 play throughs to 100% the game.

More than an hour? No. I cant recall a game causing me to be stuck at a certain point for more than an hour. Even dark souls on ng+7 which is a brutally hard game never caused me to be stuck for a prolonged period of time. Id say there was a 20 min period on my first play through on normal fighting marguerite, she is a massive cunt getting adjusted to, and then end game on mad house, massive shit show. I can safely say mad house trumps professional on res 4-6

Just when you do start your playthrough, take your time initially. Explore every nook and cranny because you will miss a lot of helpful items, such as ammo, forst aid, chem packs which can make an array of useful items, collectibles, etc.

Read as many files as you can because some are very interesting and youll learn a lot more about the lore.

And when you feel ready to tackle mad house, have fun
