if 4k is standard why doesnt everybody have 4k tvs?most i know are still rocking 1080p tvs
market can try to set the standard all they want if people arent buying them it aint shit

i dont see people flocking like " oh i need the new 4k tv becasue my 1080p is outdated" like when HD shit came out
maybe now with these consoles they will but thats hardly even 4k its a waste of a tv but hey 4k is 4k

You can't base the tv market by your experience. you are an ant inThe grand scheme, as am I.

People who are buying tvs right now, are not buying 1080p, they are buying 4k because that's what is widely available at a good market price. It's the standard.

I promise you, that 1080p is not the tv that the majority of the market is buying. The only reason you will still see it marketed is to get rid of stock.


Again, I'll restate, if you are in the market for a new tv, you are more likely to buy a 4k tv. For once, stop thinking about you and your friends, Jsp, and the gaming world because that is NOT the majority.
