Already own the base on PC but controls suck so I'll be getting it on PS4.

my controls all match the console controls
just gotta use something to help make it do that (i'm using something called x360ce to make my controller work properly with it)

I was using my ps4 controller but it irked me that it showed the Xbox controls. :lol:

ya very few if any show PS controls, and even fewer work with PS controllers natively I find (and afaik almost none seem to work perfectly with them)
my friend found a mod that is supposed to change them to show PS controls but i don't think he got it working and he didn't really try more than once though

if it uses custom control u can use motion joy and set up a ps3 controller
however i found the easiest thing to do was fake the ps3 controller as a 360 controller since pc games come pre set for xb360 controllers
but yes it does suck when it says push X its square but i always push the ps3 controller X :lol:

oh man this has been pretty enjoyable so far
but oh my god they added an absolute shit ton of spiders to brightstone, i'd say they were possibly more than doubled in number
and man these new invaders and summons are so neat cause they seem to be designed to act more similarly to players instead of the bad AIs that the old summons and NPC invaders had (they use emotes, they can switch weapons, they avoid attacks far more often)

also 1 of the new invaders seems to able to spawn in certain areas randomly as I've encountered him in a number of places I had been previously without him being encountered

kind of sad this topic hasn't seen much action yet :(
cause this SOTFS release is just so dam good, it feels like what they aimed for was trying to make a scarier enemy placement for those returning and more difficult situations for those new to DaS2

I saw a few live streams.
They were all fighting a giant with a blue flame sword when he is in rage mode.

Game looks good, will get it for sure when the price drops.
Most people (like me) will get it when bloodborne is finished and they want something new, but similar

On some streams it seemed like the game is also unfair in some ways, which bloodborne is not. It always felt like my own fault when i died in bloodborne.
Seems like this is not thr case in darksouls 2?

i highly disagree with this as when i die it very much tends to be my own fault
and it can be your fault in a few ways as it depends how you play, whether it's being more careful about your pull, being cautious, or maybe you need to pump some levels into ADP to help make dodging easier, or you need to be less greedy with attacks and better manage your stamina so you can be ready to dodge
the whole game is a learning process of needing to be careful, cautious, and aware of your surroundings

The problem is, from what i saw in streams, that there are like 4-5 enemies at once fighting you, 2 of them shooting arrows that take about the half of your life etc
There were a lot of those situations
