they just added music player for that im assuming movies is next if they are going to add it
im stillusing my ps3 for movies/tv series on my usb
id love if they made it so u could watch.mkv on ps4 though if they do add it... but i could live without

Thats a shame imo.. Ps3 can do more than ps4 can..
It's nothing necessary but i mean the ps3 could do it sp the ps4 should do it even better.

yeah but the problem is the ps3 being able to use us so freely there was a shit ton of games with hacked gear becasue of it
i think there trying to eliminate that on ps4 while still figuring out a way to give us it
which really im ok with id be good not having it if it prevents shit like that on the ps4 becasue ican stil luse my ps3 for it

i could be completely wrong but it would make sense they coulda added a music thing like ps3 but instead made it detect the music and open a music player..im assuming something similar for movies is on the way
also if they prevent usb being used so freely its prob a lot harder to jailbrake and stuff too
i mean it sucks we cant watch movies on it no doubt but thinking of positives of them not rushing it for me right now outweighs the need for it

Yea and also we have like 10 other devices to watch movies with 😁 i have netflix anyways but ofc some movies are not on netflix so i have to switch to my apple tv when i want to watch something nerflix doesnt have
