For whatever reason, a group of "homeless" people stand near the entrance of a mall right off a highway. This is a major retail development and a very busy area and by no means any close to being a poverty area.

One year, the HR at my retail job drove up to one of them and offered him a job. He declined and said he makes much more standing with a sign than making minimum wage for a 30+ hour week "real job"

I wasn't actually telling you to go beg.....but making $50 shouldn't be an issue.

There are people in the Twin Cities here in Minnesota that actually beg for money after they are done with their job making damn close to as much as they did working.

There was an article about it a few years back when a college group did it as a study. About 15 people ended up making upwards of 10,000 dollars in the 30 day experiment. (All money was donated to their college if I remember correctly)

Real life......Yes, I know about these things....What about it? I have a car, I pay my bills, I have phenomenal credit, and have no desire for children as of now.
