No these are the museum cards he has duplicates of. You get sent 5-10 on daily log-in from PD.

yeah, they implicated that before i quit,
but i started to collect all cars before ^
so i could have them all,
and i think i came up to ~900 something

anyhow, I love to see you guys still playing this game!

yeah you can dupe car's in gt5....get a usb card. save ur gt5 folder to it,take the usb card out of ur ps3, send the car u want duplicated to a alt psn or a freind.then delete ur gt5 save on ur ps3 saved game folder.. then stick ur usb card back in an copy the save file back to your hard drive in the saved games folder...free car. did it with every car i have, or add my psn an ill send u any cars u want

That sounds much more time consuming than doing the Ferrari Seasonal Event at Le Mans. 1 Lap = 504000 Credits. Time taken - 3:20-40. Buy numerous cars in a short space of time instead of pissing around with save files.
