For ps4, this is the only " real" free mmorpg, so I would say it is worth it for that reason. It does offer a lot of gameplay. However, it falls short compared to pay to play mmorpgs such as ff14.

Everything is steamroll until you get to trials/veteran dungeons.. then you need actual teamwork like any other mmo.

I have watched a lot of videos old and recent and there really aren't concrete raid/dungeon mechanics. Not to mention I've read plenty of rants regarding the lack of exciting, and act-quickly mechanics.

Truthfully, I want to like this game, I want it to be great but it's just not hitting the mark.

This game appears to be an introduction to mmos for console players who haven't played mmos. I don't really mean that in any insulting way.

I am completely aware that it was out for pc first.

Consoles have never favored mmos, period.
