Sony are a lot closer to how Sega were. Actually their history as it is reads a lot like Sega. Releasing an overly expensive console which was incredibly difficult to design for and no true relevance in the current handheld market. Even the £180 million they missed out on due to PS3 sales falling off a cliff is similar to how the Saturn suffered decline in it's final years. This is how Sega were reading in their final years. The only real difference is PS3 went on to sell a lot more units. Nintendo doesn't even have debt yet.
but they have ALOT more money in storage right now. even if they pull another "gamecube" it will still be a profit for them. maybe not a huge on scale one like the wii but they will be fine
Money in storage. You are kidding right?
