The game balancing changes that will be coming to the PS3 and 360 (already out for the PC).

Most notable changes for me personally include the nerf to M60. Ridiculously overpowered and Im glad its been nerfed quite heavily (just as I got my platinum star with it :P )

Tracer darts speed being buffed was good since they were far too slow IMO, but now according to the PC community, transport choppas die almost instantly as soon as they appear which makes the tracer dart sound a bit overpowered now.

Im surprised the AN94 long range damage was buffed. It was already my favourite assault rifle with 3k kills on it so I thought it was more than powerful enough already.

Mostly pleased with the rest of the balances and can't wait to try it out when it hits the ps3.

do you know by any chance when we should expect the patch? i havn't found anything on a expected time yet
also the m60 is supposdly not getting nerfed that bad at all- i think the dmg on it is fine, they just need to make it way more inaccurate by adding some huge kick or something, its crazy how it can be used as a auto sniper
and i can't believe they are nerfing the sniper rifles damage, its guna be impossible to get kills with recon lol

sounds like the t88 lmg wil lbe the new m60
iirc the t88 is the other gun with high damage accuracy with mid fire rate
most other lmgs are lwoer damage/acc and high fire rate
they are lowering damage on most and adding damage to t88

everything else seems pretty nice too they are nerfing that nasty ass pistol
that thing gets me the most raged out of any gun on the game.. come around the corner and get owned by a pistol lol

"DICE has announced that on May 11, console users who play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will get a massive update to the game."

Its basically the same patch as what the PC version got a while ago, but with a few additional balance changes, thanks to the feedback from the PC community regarding the already released patch.
