Either pc or nothing. If they make it for console it will not feel like Diablo 2. But then again blizzard are all about cash but I hope they prove me otherwise

pretty sure they could manage d2 on consoles if they really wanted too
would it be optimal? doubt it but playable

as for "leaving out runewords" blizz recently released classic in a specific patch state they could do the same for d2 in say version .09 which was probably the version it was in during its prime

Woot! TBH I don't think a remaster would be difficult. Why? Well, I wouldn't "remaster" mit at all. Just upscale everything the way it is now to 4k resolution.
