Think of it this way, if you're good and playing against good people (intentionally matching up vs good people) then your kd will slowly gravitate towards 1. Kd can be easssilly boosted if u pub stomp in a party all day, but u dont learn anything from those games except to become reckless cause the opposition sucks so much that it really doesnt matter how you play. Kd matters to a certain point (I dont want a negative kd player on the team if we're really trying to win a game), but it doesnt matter all that much afterwards.

Vouch. You're not going to hold down a 2.5 playing MLG at level 50 in H3. You won't hold down a 2.5 players Masters 1 on Bo2. Destiny, a 2+ K/D is very obtainable as it's mostly bad kids who can only use Thorn or TLW. The nerfs will be interesting, I'll love watching these pro clans realize how bad they are after their broken to shit guns are taken away.

I played Trials one time without a Thorn or TLW btw. I'm not touching this pos game again until the nerfs happen, it's boring 2 shotting everyone and I refuse to use broken weapons. Get good and lmk.
