My gun is next to me in a compartment when I sleep and I have an alarm system
So the bad guy has to bypass my alarm system and not set it off, somehow make it in without making any noise, get into my bedroom and reach across my face reaching into the compartment that he shouldn't know about and impossibly not add any movement to my bed since the bed is in the way of the compartment.

If he can do all of that then I wouldn't mind being shot by him
