And it's not a hardware issue either. There is no wonder engine (yet) with flawless AI.

Both sides of the argument have valid points.
Could the AI have been better, yes.
Is the game good nonetheless, yes.


Both of these points I agree with though :mellow:

Not saying it's the blunder of the century that they took the easy way, I'm just saying they had the funds and time and talent to at least TRY and fix a known gaming problem.

And a few notes:

I play the Xbox 360 because it is the console I have; it has flaws like everything else.
I don't bash games in the Xbox 360 section because no one talks about exclusive games there. Hell, no one talks about games at all really.
I come to this section to talk about games. The one topic I decide to post my opinion on in the most lighthearted and sarcastic of manners I get ambushed.
The last of us is good enough better yet  It's a great game. I never said it wasn't. I'm saying there are flaws with it that are PLAIN AS DAY, but people refuse to see them because it's the crowed prince of PlayStation exclusives. (see video)
It wasn't just about Ellie being detectable it was about AI in general. Those three images I posted where just a small sample of that.

also the re5 is a dead horse. use cover and her ai is fine except in 5-3

re6 is 10 times worse. invincible ai makes for trash game

...almost like the hate ff13 got, too linear? yet 7 and 10 get praised...last i checked golden saucer wasnt open world

glad people are noticing bad game when its in face

Agreed. If anyone has the money and talent to build a revolutionary engine it would be ND. They are a giant in the industry now.

Are you implying you never express your opinion on a game you haven't played? Maybe after a launch trailer? Or maybe the final review on it that made you decide not to get it?

Naughty Dog is huge and they have done great things for Sony. What they promised and showcased in the demo at E3 would have been enough, it would have been groundbreaking, but it was nothing at all like what they showed and people didn't seem to mind.
