It's not marketed because they knew it's not going to be all that impressive.. I mean don't get me wrong, it's my favorite racing game to date, but that's also because of how limited we are on having sim racing on consoles.
But I would never compare drive club bro. From what I can see its more like a need for speed than a GT.. I'm just waiting for the next TRUE next generation gran turismo with no bullshit standards and good engine sound.

In parts alone 1k seems low. I already noticed it was an LCD with LED backlight. So it probably has solid white LED's behind it so the can say its LED but its really just LCD.
But, what else did they cheap out on. Is it made with recycled news paper or something.

Vizio is one that undercuts their prices. Without looking i'm sure that 1k for 4k is their entry level TV for 4k.

I play the hourly raffle every once in a while, match 2 here n there, a few donations from users with df access, etc. etc.
plus when I donate fg for star upgrades in the df, after the trade, you get 50% of your fg back
