You seem to be a Zelda fan as you mentioned earlier and seeing from your sig.
I would recommend a 3DS for you.

But if you do want a Vita, P4 is really good if you want to take another look at it.
Games coming out later this year include:

- MGS HD Collection

Also, Vita has Zelda.... Kinda
The PSP had amazing homebrew and emulators such as Snes, Gameboy, N64 were
able to run pretty well on the PSP. The Vita is not hacked yet, possibly not for a while
but when the time comes, there will probably be a perfect N64 emulator to play your
Zelda

I never really got into SLy titles, Soul Sacrifice seems ok.., I have gone off turn based RPG's ever since I finished FF9.

I don't really want to purchase a handheld console just for one or two titles - I'm looking at potential here.

I can't believe there aren't more RPG's and top tier exclusive games (read HALO-esque) on the vita yet

actually i think there is already a tales game on the vita i think, but only in japan atm
and another 1 in the works both of them are remakes of the ds ones we never got

PSO2 do you have to pay monthly fee?
when does killzone come out, i hope it's like kz3 which was the best in the series

i bet this year at e3 sony got some big news for the vita

One of them is out in Japan already, the other comes out March 2013.

Both used to be DS exclusives. I think Namco would have to be stupid
not to bring these over. Some PSP ones weren't brought over but
I think it was because the PSP was hacked so easily that they'd be losing money.


PSO2 I don't think you'll have to pay a subscription fee for. The PC one is just a one time
buy and the Vita shares the same servers as PC.
Don't know when KZ is coming out though.



I was only reading off of the Wiki. There will very likely be 2 or 3 more FF Games on the Vita and probably another Kingdom Hearts
Also, FF Agito was not localized yet so will probably come to Vita eventually.
Monster Hunter will eventually fail on 3DS and Capcom will have to bring it to Vita.
And there will probably be some ports of some PS2/3 games.

well it's namco and apparently we were never supposed to be getting xillia, but they brought that over cause graces f sold so well, but had it not sold well i heard it would've been the last tales game localized so there is no way to know if they'll take a chance bringing it over or not

so i bought one of the psv starter kit things for $25 (the biogenik one), i regret buying it now cause the carrying case is garbage (vita barely even fits in it when i don't have my games in it) and the screen protector is just slightly too small for the screen
wish i had gone with the other option that was $40 with a 4GB memory card

Played some PS Vita Gravity rush in JB Hi-Fi Today, almost walked out with a new Vita but the $250 price tag was too big

I might just buy cheap PSP and get some emulators cranking until some decent ports/third parties start producing quality innovative games OR a price drop in hardware...

I think Ebgames/Gamestop (in US) had a sale on used PS Vitas, $150 (regularly $200). In Canada, the sales were horrible on Boxing Day, they just threw in
a free game with the AC Bundle.

during the boxing day sales, amazon had a ps vita bundle with assasins creed and ps all stars for like 180$ with a free month of psn+ too i think
