i already killed sif n didnt go near the hydra.. i opened the door n ran alnog the left edge and got to him fairly easily and quick but the hydra drosp a dragon scale to +1 my drake sword ^^
and leveling isnt t obad its starting to cost me now tho but the 7k runs at the door for sif is decent lol
e: n does ur DS wiki make like a popping sound.. wtf is that

i personally don't care for upping the drake sword, it gets out dated fairly quickly, especially when you get enough stats to use other weapons.
but that's just my preference.

the wiki has a chatbox on the left side, you can disable the sound, but yea it's kinda annoying sometimes

not good when its 2:30 am lol but i dont see how its so bad.. its a fast 1 handed sword with high damage n low reqs although i do wish it had a pierce attack haha
n i cant make anything better i got a bunch of +5 weps and all ican upgrade them to is "divine" but i cant even cuz i dont have the mats lol

i got the ancient dragons greatsword.. 50 str requirement and 360 lvl 1 damage lol... so boss. almost level 81 now and can use it then.

well later on it does less damage, like you'll start doing 40-50 damage to bosses later instead of your amazing 100 early on haha.
but that's cause that weapon doesn't scale with stats and you'll find better weapons later.
i mean you can upgrade it if you want, or the demon scales to upgrade other weapons you find later, your choice, just giving my opinion

e: it seems that there is no benefit to being dex build, since most weapons require so much str to start with.
dex only lets you wield the faster ones, but the stronger ones all require strength

the hydra is easy once you get up close. i start with all those crystal looking brutes then dash for the water. as long as you keep a shield up at the water, youll survive easy. that boss and the moonlight butterfly are the easiest ive encountered.

his splash shit he shotos breaks through my shield tho n hurts me.. ilke 1/4 my life almost lol
n he shot me like 4 times in a row pretty much when i was upclose i swear my monsters dont react the same as other peoples...

easier than pinwheel and iron golem?
pinwheel i just smacked him, didn't even get hit.
iron golem albeit kind of cheap at times with his grab, also likes to feed you his death since he jump/falls off the ledge...

e: currently using quellag's furysword, gravelord sword, and lightning spear +1, with a +5 longbow secondary.
man i feel like str > dex if so many power weapons require so much str and dex scaling isn't really worth it.
