Kung Jin has been my favorite and best since i started playing. His range with his staff and even his kicks is crazy. I use the bo staff specialization stance.

I use the staff variation as well
His combos are very easy to pull off and has a good mix of overhead/low strings. His strings also give you enough time to confirm for the staff launch special
He does get boring overtime though.

I just started playing dvorah last night but didn't have enough time due to people coming over to shoot pool but I liked her play style

If you really want to get deep into jin then get familiarized with his frame data so the good players won't destroy you
He has a lot of punishable moves
Of course you probably already knew that

I don't get that intensive with fighting games and I didnt even resubscribe to psn+ after my first year expired. I don't have any games that are really worth my time playing online

It can get really fun tho

I've lost pretty bad online too and I actually like playing people better than me
Same for pool
Of course that doesn't mean I want to lose like 30 matches in a row cause then it'll just get boring
