Its easy to get shots on target. Getting within 1 MOA is the toughie.

O no doubt. This was my first time and I was shocked I was even able to the hit the target. It wa so much fun and is a hobby I would get into but it's too expensive for my blood.

No
You do NOT hold your breathe when you shoot

I guess me along with millions of others including my brother who underwent sniper training in the army were just taught wrong?

I think he means to the point of suffocation. You hold your breath, yes, but then you breathe out slowly.

I sure hope so.

Ammo isnt too expensive, I can get 1k rounds for 350$ (but that is for ak, which is possibly the cheapest kind of rounds)

Ive got myself a vz 58 and a 12 gauge.

I plan on getting some sort of 5.56, 308, and a H&K USP.

Most rifle rounds are around a dollar each now so you literally are throwing bills down range. Even my 30-30 ammo is 19.99 for 20.

I might sound like ass for saying it but yes
It might work but it doesn't mean its the most efficient
You do not technically hold your breathe
You control your breathing and shoot on your respiratory pause

Which bro said is normally on your exhale. That pause can and is normally stalled for longer than normal when you take the shot which is essentially you holding your breath.

But see that term would be familiar to you and me
I doubt not many people on here would know that
You tell someone new to shooting to hold their breathe, they won't breathe.
I myself don't stall longer than normal for a shot though
2 seconds most and that isn't that long
Then again I'm more used to shooting with a handgun

You also tell someone new to shooting to pull the trigger and the jerk the gun towards them.

You tell them to aim at the target and they have the back sights not even lined up with the front.

You tell them to keep their finger off the trigger unless they plan to shoot and they act sarcastic about it.

As scary stupid as it is shooting is a trial and error sport. You wont learn what you are doing wrong until you finally do it right.

But if you can give them tips and advice you can reduce the amount of trial and error or maybe even get rid of a few steps

I haven't been around that many people that didn't know how to shoot, but the few people like my step brother and one of my aunts was just sad. No matter what you say sometimes things just don't click until you figure it out yourself.

The whole "squeeze the trigger don't pull" is one of the best examples. Niggas need to find a better way of explaining that one if they don't want to wait for them to figure it out. Or load the mag with a random blank 1/2 way through and watch them thrust the gun when the squeeze the trigger on it.
