I play snake and I can always hear the opposing team talk about taking me out first haha but that leaves them open to the rest of my team

Going for the person at the snake first is such a bad idea. If the person was fast enough to get to the snake you kind of have to leave them there, even though they have a great position, until it's 2v1 so you can bunker him. Because like you said, going for the snake first is just asking to get shot by the rest of the team.
I use to play back because I am not so fast but mainly because I had an Angel and I could lay lines without my marker chopping paintballs. This was back when eye's were first being put into markers.

Yea I can't play back since I'm not tall lol
I have good senses/intuition and I'm small so snake suits me fine
We have a great back player that everyone always complains he's too tall

the only good thing about cod whenever i got bored of it (usually month or 2 later) id sell it for like $40 lol
