that's the point of an open world

i love it.

u actually have to remember where stuff is, its the perfect layout for an already difficult game.

I like it because it makes it feel more real.

but its not open world you have to go in a specific order
it just doesnt tell u which way it is lol or what your looking for or anything




even irl the lost person knows what they are generally trying to do/find dark souls you have no idea

but i didnt know what i was looking for or when to g othere ect ect ect and if you dont go at the right time you might miss something and have to go back...
or you might need this or that and ave to find some other ranodm place.... hey lets go to the sewers in some ranodm wooden door that nobody would thinkl eads to the sewers.... but it does in dark souls!
idk about you guys but i cant stand games i run around aimlessly give me some sort of direction or make it a proper open world game

i've done catacombs before undead parish before

some you do need to do, but that is cause they're connected to the previous one

You don't NEED to go anywhere first really. People have done backassword runs just fine.

In real life if you where dropped into a place you have no recollection of you would have to talk to people. The Crestfallen night tells you what to do for the first 1/3 of the game.

The game is fine if you use your brain a bit.
