Welp, I got a $50 Nintendo eshop card so I can get monster hunter digitally.

why buy digitial?

1) takes up to much spaces on Sd card
2) cant sell it
3)takes along time to dl

Probably going to get a 32 GB SD card sometime soon

Small game cartridge can probably get stolen or lost fairly easy

Download time is limited to the wireless card

And again I didn't pay for it. My Brother in law wanted digital this time so we got 2 x $50 eshop cards. I understand what all you are saying and I do like physical copies of games.

I can't really complain though since I didn't pay for it and I guess it's nice once in a while to not have to swap out games so much.

sd cards are cheap, doesn't matter if you don't ever plan to sell the game anyway, meh

I still don't understand how nintendo games hold their value so well.

cause Nintendo's idea of make games good enough that people won't want to sell is kind of a real thing xD

There are a few that are dirt cheap though lol.

and numerous other games are kinda hard to find

The top selling Nintendo games sell systems. Yesterday when Pokemon came out we sold so many 3ds and 2ds systems just because people wanted to play. There are very few ps3 and xbox games that hold that type of power.

Yeah but as far as holding price goes it because not as many are sold therefore not as many are available to buy used. I can give examples.

Catherine, Valkyria Chronicles, White Knight Chronicles (before part 2 came out), Eternal Sonata.

All are considered niche games that didn't do so well. People want them, but not as many were sold in the first place so less are available. So, they end up holding value.

Like Zelda Twighlight Princess and so on.
