Any downtime is always blamed on hackers so I wouldn't believe it till confirmed (which it won't be).

read an article this morning that said just this. microsoft needs to either come out and say that the 720 or the XBOX3 will have DRM or not. they are getting people all riled up and disgruntled

but tbh i'm still leaning towards microsoft doing the stupid thing until they confirm it without being vague

that source is very sketchy and the material is very convenient. too convenient to confirm it as a leak. id call that more speculation and hoping in my opinion. to put it bluntly if that article ends up being true i will have lost complete faith in microsoft as a brand.
