Extreme metal just doesn't appeal to many people, and it's understandable. Its pretty out there. Just because a band doesn't make much money doesn't mean they aren't skilled.

It doesn't matter if you would call it the same. It is still considered death metal. So to your point, you are wrong.

Well, considering you compared Thy Art Is Murder to Metallica a few posts back, I kind of stopped taking your argument serious lol. But either way, skillful or not, pretty much all newer death metal bands don't make shit for money, you can't really argue that. If you don't like Thy Art, that's fine lol. I understand why most death metal fans hate all this super breakdown oriented shit nowadays. I personally love all metal.

Lol I was focused on Thy Art. When I say heavy music, I didn't mean typical heavy metal, so in that sense I was wrong because I was using the wrong genre. Why would I insult you? Lol. Heavy metal musicians can make money, but when you get into deathcore and such there is a small handful that make enough money to live off, and those are pretty much the founding deathcore bands.
