For me, this game is focused on more thinking and less spamming.
Much more polished game.
Mkx is honestly a good stepping stone for people who want to enter the fighting game scene

The majority of players don't get as involved in the game as you. They learn the moves and play without critically thinking.

Mk9 was the largest achievement in mk, 10 is just an addition onto it.

Actually, mkx has a huge community. Majority of the players are getting involved. Tons of combo vids and tons of people in the comments trying to learn it. I've never seen so many people join the fighting game community.

I know it's big, it's a popular video game franchise that has been around for decades. Yet, you have hardcore players, and then you have casual, just like any other game.

But there are a lot more casuals than hardcore
More than there were for mk9
The casuals outnumber the hardcore 2:1 if not 3:1

MK9 was fresh and new. I played the fuck out of it. Got MKX, haven't played it since it came out. All the new games kinda suck. They have nothing on the older games

So, using logic. Since mkx isn't much different than 9, the only reason you don't care for x is because you played 9 so much. So, there really isn't anything wrong x.
