How easy is this game to pick up for someone who hasn't played the first one? Looking for a short game to play between Diablo and Far Cry 4.

Pretty easy to get into. I'd imagine the story for this one would be a bit better having not played second son since you have no expectations

I haven't played it yet but wouldn't you have no idea who Fetch and Augustine are?

It does a good job explaining them. You may not get some of the subtle references though but I don't think they detract from the story

I'm more worried about there being no tutorial or it being too difficult to someone who has not played the original.

is this on vita or ps4?

Stand-alone dlc. It is dlc, but doesn't require owning Infamous: Second Son.
