i never saw guys get stuck in doors or freeze up like he says either


id be curious if to this guy skipped the day 1 patch to make this vid to try n make it look worse then it really is tbh

That is why the unbiased people agree with him and the fanboys don't. Sounds good.

This is video proof of horrible AI in a game that got 10/10 for many different sources.

hes palying in normal and claiming its the highest difficulty LOL

even the comments peopel are saying that and the ones agreeing with him are prob 360 fanboys

get the game paly it on the hardest difficulty and tell me this vid isnt bs and a half lol


There is no excuse for that AI crap. Half-Life came out in 1998 and it had marines that react to the environment, your weapons, and the amount of health they have. If it could be done (at least decently) in 1998, then why hasn't it been perfected yet?

The AI was fantastic based on my experience... I guess everyone experiences different things in their playthrough.


I think this is just your game or the difficulty level you played on....the AI were fine when I played. Ellie was invisible to AI though but that's how its supposed to be. And they did take out those random combat moves(which was disappointing) but the AI you showed in the video were awful! Mine were never that stupid and I played the game 3 times.

I've watched hours of videos on it and many more of live streams. I've seen it all through that and with the combination of what people are saying (You know the people you refuse to admit that actually exist and/or have an opinion because it's different) and the images I've seen I know enough to make my own opinion just like you have.

its a joke that you base your opinion on streams and videos based on trying to make the game look bad ... and then claim your unbiased
my opinion is based on plsying the game on easy and then part way through on the hardest ... thers a BIG difference in the AI and i never saw any get stuck like that lol
im done tho lol you havnt played the game yet you act like you beat it 20 times and know it like the back of your hand

I like how you jump to me watching only videos that try to make it look bad I've watched dozens of hours of live streams of this game when it came out and up until today and there is a huge problem in AI.

Never said I knew it like the back of my hand; I said I knew it enough to form an opinion on it. Just like you would form an opinion on a game you saw before you bought it. You don't have to play a game to see it's flaws.

AI isn't where it needs to be to make an npc completely dependant.

Saying they took the easy way out is true because the harder route would have been developing a new game engine/physic.

And it's not a hardware issue either. There is no wonder engine (yet) with flawless AI.

RE5 is what happens when you try to go that route with current tech. SHIVA NO!!!!

Both sides of the argument have valid points.
Could the AI have been better, yes.
Is the game good nonetheless, yes.
