Nintendo direct doesnt receive the same press attention E3 does. It'd be like posting in a local news paper vs posting on google news and expecting the same amount of people to read and appreciate the content.

and i think that's the main point, most people will not watch the entire conference but most likely get their news from gaming websites and blogs
with nintendo direct they can announce their games when they want, and they've announced a bunch throuh nitendo direct
what i'm expecting from e3 is more footage from those games in smaller booths where they could also be playable but we'll see i guess
