No way. I moved from Brampton and it only took me an hour and a half to go to the falls. I live at the Falls now btw.

i'm kinda curious how it will effect Microsoft since it's a free alternative made for games and I'd expect to start seeing more games working with linux cause of it

I don't think it will effect gaming as is. Games will merely be open source and work across multiple platforms. Bottom line is that a lot of the audience will not use steamos because they do not have the resources or the knowledge to boot a Linux based operating system. Or they don't have the option to do so on their parents or shared computer.

If games were to go primarily Linux only they would alienate millions upon millions of customers

i'm expecting at least some effect cause I'd expect a decent number to swap over assuming developers make the games work for linux

Games will be made for both. I'd imagine Linux makes it so much easier for ports
