I really can't play this game, it's too hard!

Do all of the tyres etc. actually count for something when racing or is it jus part of the game?

skid recovery for example

Yes, Softer tyres = better grip and harder tyres = less grip but more durability

also you have alot of settings that can increase downforce,ABS,skid recovery blah blah blah

Like the wind is pretty much the most important race in Extreme. it unlocks te Minolta which you can use to finish all the high end races, it would be pretty painful to do them without it

or if you don't enable all your upgrades haha
