Why do you call them private btw, aren't they dedicated. Private=one with password or hidden from server list

e: you can check someones profile if you think they've been farming stats on metro, shouldn't be hard to find out.

Okay but.. PC had them for like +13 years now, works fine and there's different kind of servers for each people and their playstyle.
People are just ignorant if they really think that some laggy P2P system is better, that almost every console game has.

Thought the debate was ranked vs unranked? Private servers create pistol knife servers or only usas or stuff like that that's basically boosting so it should be unranked.

i feel like this game was just monetized to high heaven. sure the custom server things can make for some fun isolated game sessions but half of the fun of bf3 is unlocking stuff.. and now you can just pay to unlock.

on top of that they make money off of servers. meh.
