jesus christ, it's not like there is a limit of money that is on kickstarter. People back and support games they are interested in. It's not like people who didn't back might no9 would of had to put money into another kickstarter project.
what i'm saying is those people who fund games they find interesting could have given their money for another project, to a smaller dev who really needs it
banks don't care how interesting your video game project looks, they'll lend money to high-profile people because those are the people with the highest chance of making a huge chunk of money, on kickstarter what your projects is actually matters because gamers are funding it and that's pretty cool, but then those high-profile devs start to come in and gather millions in a few days for their projects (which could easily have been funded otherwise). I've seen so many interesting project die on kickstarter because they didnt reach their goal, Inafune's new game looks cool but nowhere near as interesting as some of the new ideas small devs come up with, but because he's well known and he's making a megaman game he gets all the money he needs.
